Bare

The body tells many stories. What people reveal of themselves in their nudity is always powerful to me. It brings about a certain primal energy, a message beyond words and looks that is sometimes sexual, often delicate… always very personal, like a forbidden window into their intimacy : their desire to provoke, or their fragility. My father was a surgeon. Maybe it’s why skin fascinates me; that tiny barrier between inside and outside, between obvious and secretive – between life and death.
